King of Men

I really wanted to draw this for quite a while already. Tolkien's character of Aragorn is really close to my heart, with all the things he has to go through in his life.

I started with graphite pencil, but after the first strokes I changed to dark Sepia pencil. It's more difficult: very messy and it can hardly be erased (even the electric eraser failed). But the structure and "rough" look was perfect for the motive.

A5 size, I don't own the reference picture,
and the original is open for grabs.
